Complete Guide to Fat Loss

Sensa Weight Loss System

Sensa Weight Loss SystemI saw an interesting show on TV about a new weight loss system called Sensa. I looked around for reviews on the product and every review I found was from somebody who did not try the product but was more than willing to give a negative review and then an affiliate link to some other product.

How can somebody review the effectiveness of a product without actually using the product? They can't and any thing they say holds no merit in my book.

After looking at Sensa's promotional material and deciding the ingredients were not going to cause me any harm, I decided to give it a try.

You sign up and and it puts you on the automatic montlhy plan for six months, but you can cancel at anytime through your account on their website so your not locked into it.

It cost $49.00 per month which is not bad considering the cost of some of the stuff on the market today.

The science makes sense to me. It uses your oralfactory senses to trick you into feeling full. How many times have you had a cold and could not taste anything so you were not really hungry? The DVD they send with the first order has a great demonstration in it. The Dr. looks kind of creepy but hey if his product works as advertised, I don't care if he looks like Frankenstein.

My first worry was I would run out of the 1st months product before the month was out. I eat 6 to 8 meals a day so that was a real concern. It did not happen, after the first month I still had some left when I opened the second months package.

The first couples days I really didn't notice much. But after a week or so, I suddenly found myself getting full much faster that before and actually leaving food on the plate. This is a huge thing for me because I am always hungry.

I just finished my second month and am going on the 3rd month of the plan. For me, the biggest challenge is remembering to sprinkle everything you eat with it and taking the second container with you when you go out to eat.

I'm noticing a real difference in my waist line and I'm starting to see the tops of my abs which is something I have not seen in a long time. Because I bodybuild, I really can not judge by my weight loss. I'm gaining muscle as I'm losing fat and muscle is heavier than fat so I've only lost a few pounds but my mid section fat is on the decline.

I'm going to continue the product for the full six months and will my post my final results for you to read. If you read other reviews and they have not tried the product, then you should try reading another review of someone who has actually tried it.

At this point, I think I would recommend this product to people to at least try the first month and see if you notice any difference in your hunger. If you can keep the hunger in check, that's half the battle.

I'll keep you posted!

Well, I'm into my 5th month on this program and so far I'm not fully satisfied. I did initially see some weight loss in the first few months but as I forgot to use the stuff here and there, the weight loss evaporated. If you gain the weight right back once you stop using the product, what is the purpose of it. I'm sure they won't mind you buying their stuff forever but I want to be able to keep the weight off without having to use a product to do it.

If you do try this product, just remember you have to use it on everything you eat and it can become a hassle trying to do that. If you can remember to use on EVERYTHING, then you just might see some descent results from it.

Reviews

When this was featured as a product on Shopnbc dot com, their website listed nothing but favorable reviews. After I started using the product, the reviews started to disappear and some were less favorable. I used the product for 3 weeks and this was my experience. I sprinkled the product on all my food. After a few days, the thought of food started to make me sick to my stomach. I would, therefore, take a break and not sprinkle my food. One day, my co-worker asked what was in the product. I looked at the ingredients and saw Soy and Milk. I am allergic to soy and lactose intolerant. In spite of this, I continued to take the product and just upped my Lactaid pills. The sick to my stomach feeling returned. After a while, I just couldn't take it anymore. The idea of SENSA seems like a good idea but making it with SOY and MILK; the two ingredients that cause most people intestinal problems seems like a huge mistake. As for weight loss, I saw none. I ate just as much on SENSA; I just didn't enjoy eating while using the product.

I have been using Sensa for 6 weeks now and have lost 15 1/2 pounds. I know it sounds like this is a gimic, I thought so too but it really works. By the second night I noticed that I didn't reach for the bag of chips that I used to eat while watching TV. Cravings are gone and I eat 1/2 of what I was eating. Sensa has made it possible for me to listen to my body by knowing when I am full. I would HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone - hey we have all tried everything else - what do you have to loose but the weight?

I have been on Sensa for 7 months now and have had great success with it. Sensa helps create a sense of fullness that helps you reduce the amount of food you want to eat. If you stop eating when you begin to feel full, you will slowly train yourself what a "normal" portion is. Sensa also has taken away all of my carb/sweet cravings. It took about three days for me to see a difference in that. I noticed that one night I didn't want my usual box or bag of candy. I used to be a grazer - I ate my way through a day - most of it candy and/or sweets. I was eating about 10,000 calories a day - about half of it in candy. My cravings are under control, I've lost 10 pounds and 25 inches, I have lost 4 dress sizes. I eat great, healthy food, not because I have to, but because I want to. Additionally, my blood sugars have stabilized and my cholesterol is under control for the first time in a long time. Sensa has helped me achieve goals in my weight loss and health that no other product has. I am now incorporating a lot of activity into my life. Sensa works - but it is NOT a quick weight loss program, however, if you follow the plan, it will work for you. And two of the best parts of using Sensa (other than the weight loss and health benefits gained from losing weight) Sensa has a fabulous and awesome online support community and the Sensa is one of the most caring, customer oriented companies I have ever dealt with!!!

After reading the patent application for this product, I conclude that the salty "tastants" contain quite a lot of MSG or other free glutamate as flavor enhancers. Hence my thought that results might be the same with "Sazon". The salty "tastants", all followed by the word 'flavor', by month, are: cheddar cheese, onion, horseradish, ranch, taco, and parmesan. The patent application states that the constituents of these flavors are preferably generally recognized as safe by the FDA. (as an aside, there have been studies showing a link between MSG consumption and reduced body fat and weight...along with studies with contradictory results). Is it a bad idea to sprinkle MSG on everything one eats? There lies controversy. Does an excess of glutamate surrounding a neuron cause cell death? Absolutely. Is this process implicated in neurodegenerative diseases? Definitely. Does that glutamate come from the MSG and other sources of free glutamate in our diets? That is a larger issue than I want to attempt to address. But if you are trying to answer this question for yourself, I would suggest looking into ppl like Blaylock (who thinks that MSG is a causative factor in neurogenerative disease), his background, where he has published his papers, and other theories he holds dear, before necessarily believing that MSG is poison. I am not saying it isn't, simply encouraging consumers to educate themselves before making decisions. Stepping away from that particular fray to address the sweet "tastants"... They are, by month: coca (sic), spearmint, banana, strawberry, raspberry, and malt (again, all followed by the word 'flavor'). The implication is that these, too, enhance the flavor of the food and help one to eat less of it. While the base of the tastants might impart a slightly sweet taste, the mechanism of enhancement is more mysterious with the sweet variety. The information about the tastants in the patent application does not seem to relate much, if at all, to Hirch's earlier published work about sniffing scents to help keep from over-eating. And the tastants don't smell like much of anything, in or out of the shaker. A last point of interest, of the (only!) ninety-two people included in the study, their average weight loss for each month, by month, was (only!), in pounds: 3.3, 2.5, .1, .2, .6, and 0. In conclusion, the weight loss described (in the patent application, at least) seems very modest given the cost of a potentially dangerous product.

Sensa is actually providing a FREE 30-day trial on their website. People who are selling the starter kit most likely got their kit for free and trying to make a profit. I think it's a little unfair, thus, my "review".
